5 Places to Eat When You’re Drunk in Boston

Drunk-Girl-Red-Wine

You’ve had a few drinks at your favorite bar, and you’re sitting there thinking, “What’s the least harmful poor life choice I can make right now?” That’s when you realize that all you want is some delicious food that you probably attempt to avoid eating in a right state of mind. This is when you realize you’ve contracted an irreversible case of the “drunkies”. I think we’ve all been there and will be there again – so here are some Boston drunk favorites.

South Street Diner – 178 Kneeland St., Boston, MA

This old-timey place will make you feel right at home with the traditional charming booths and diner-style counter. Order yourself a stack of pancakes, a slice of pie, and a cup of coffee. All of the favorite American comfort foods in one place? Don’t mind if I do! I haven’t even gotten to the best part yet… you can come in any time because they’re open 24 hours.

Tavern in the Square – 4 locations in the Boston area

You don’t have to stray far from the bar to satisfy your food cravings. Since Tavern in the Square is a popular spot for nightlife, come here to have drinks and stay for the great menu they offer. The atmosphere is great for eating, drinking, and socializing, with room to lounge around with your group or meet a new group!

Lucca – 226 Hanover St., Boston, MA

Smack-dab in the middle of Little Italy, the lovely Lucca restaurant does not disappoint. Although on the pricier side, the food can appease your wildest cravings and fill you up like you wouldn’t believe. Take advantage of their late-night/bar menu for some delectable carbolicious flatbreads and pastas that will soak up some of the fermented goodness floating around in your body.

Maria’s Taqueria – 226 Tremont St., Boston, MA

If you’re craving some good ole Mexican spice, come to Maria’s for an affordable snack. It’s cleanly with plenty of room on the inside to bring your friends (you can share this informative list with them so they know you always have their best interest in mind). Grab a quick, zesty authentic bite of taco, burrito, quesadilla, or all of the above! Order whatever it is your inhibited mind desires.

Tasty Burger – 3 Locations in the Boston area

I don’t know about you, but a nice, juicy burger feels great after a night out. Eat there or take it home! Tasty Burger is a local Boston burger chain that happens to stay open pretty late. They make their specialty burgers, good old fashioned burgers, and chicken sandwiches with fresh meat and vegetables, and they make some mean onion rings. Tasty gets that perfect combination of crunch and grease you’re looking for, but most importantly, they live up to their name. Tasty, tasty, tasty.

I encourage you to eat & drink – it’s pretty much necessary to live a happy life. That being said, don’t be belligerent or obnoxious in professional establishments.
