I’d Think To That: Presidential Sayings

Trump Strategy I'd Think To That Final

The Internet is filled with think pieces from the left and think pieces from the right. Every week, I’ll be offering my unique perspective on the issues of our time. Spoiler alert: I’m correct.

Donald Trump spent the weekend speaking truth to power, and of course, the LIEberal PC Media machine is losing their mind. Trump said that his followers are so dedicated, “they wouldn’t abandon him even if he shot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue” and of course the left-wing losers are acting like this is a bad thing. Some people have even said that sort of statement should disqualify him from being president, but they clearly aren’t up on their presidential history. Just look at these other famous quotes from the former heads of our state:

  • “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask why I let pathetic losers like you continue to breath.” -JFK
  • “I can not tell a lie: If you mess with Washington, you’ll taste my Washing-fist.” -George Washington
  • “Speak softly, or else you’ll get hit with my big stick over and over again until you die.” -Teddy Roosevelt
  • “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself. Specifically, the fear that I’ll squeeze the life out of your body in the middle of the night. You know who you are and what you’ve done.” -FDR
  • “A president’s hardest task is not to do what’s right, but to get into a drunken fight with an entire bar and only leave once you’re the last one alive.” -LBJ
  • “War should never be entered upon until every agency of peace has failed. JK, JK, I’ll slap you with the back of my hand.” -William McKinley
  • “We, the people, tell the government what to do. But if you try and tell me what to do, you better believe I’ll curb-stomp you into next week.” -Ronald Reagan
  • “The dangers of a concentration of all power in the general government of a confederacy so vast as ours is yada yada yada. I’ve killed thirty people just for the heck of it.” -Franklin Pierce
  • “Get bent and die.” -Zachary Tyler
